  • Documents you upload (e.g., business documents, statements, internal files)

  • Communications (support requests, messages, feedback)

B) Connected Data you authorize us to access (third-party integrations)

If you connect third-party services (for example: accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online, banking connections, payments platforms, payroll providers, and similar tools), we may access and process data you authorize, such as:

  • Transactions (amounts, dates, descriptions)

  • Counterparty information (payer/payee names and identifiers)

  • Account metadata and balances (if provided by the connected source)

  • Accounting objects (categories, mappings, invoices/bills if provided by the source)

Important: We do NOT collect or store Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, bank login credentials, or full payment card numbers. Do not upload or submit government ID numbers to VissoraX.

C) Usage, device, and log data

  • IP address, device/browser type, app usage analytics

  • Logs relating to feature usage, performance, and troubleshooting

  • Cookies and similar identifiers (see Section 6)

3) HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services

  • Connect, sync, and display data from integrations you authorize

  • Organize transactions, counterparties (“People”), categories, and reports

  • Generate analytics and insights based on your data

  • Power AI-assisted functionality (“Jarvis”) that explains and helps you work with information available in your account

  • Export reports to you (e.g., CSV/PDF) when you request them

  • Enable collaboration you control (e.g., inviting a CPA/team member with permissions you choose)

  • Improve the Services using aggregated and anonymized information (not your raw connected accounting data)

  • Secure the Services, prevent abuse/fraud, and comply with legal obligations

  • Communicate with you about the Services (service notices, security notices, changes, and support)

  • Market VissoraX and measure marketing effectiveness (see Section 6), but we do not use your connected accounting data (including QuickBooks-derived data) for marketing.

4) QUICKBOOKS ONLINE / INTUIT DATA EXPECTATIONS (IMPORTANT)

If you connect QuickBooks Online or other accounting platforms:

  • Consent: We will describe what data we access and why, and we obtain your agreement through the platform authorization flow (e.g., OAuth) and an in-app confirmation where applicable.

  • Read-only: Our QuickBooks Online integration is read-only.

  • No cross-customer sharing: We do not share one customer’s QuickBooks-derived data with another customer.

  • Stop syncing on revoke: If you revoke or disconnect access, we stop accessing and syncing new data from that source promptly.

  • Functional use only (within consent): We store and use connected accounting data solely to provide the functionality of the Services and only within the scope of your consent and permissions.

  • Functional retention: Previously synced data may remain in your VissoraX account so you can continue using your historical records unless you request deletion (see Section 8).

5) PAYROLL DATA (CURRENT OR FUTURE INTEGRATIONS)

VissoraX may support payroll integrations (now or in the near future) through payroll providers and related applications. We are not designed to request or store government ID numbers (such as Social Security numbers). You should not upload government ID numbers to VissoraX, and we minimize the payroll-related data we process to what is necessary to provide the functionality you request.

6) HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We may disclose information:

A) To vetted service providers (processors)

We use vetted third-party service providers to host infrastructure, store data, provide communications, operate analytics, and process payments. They may access information only to perform services for us under contractual safeguards.

B) To third-party services you choose to connect

When you connect an integration, data may flow between VissoraX and that provider according to your authorization and that provider’s terms.

C) To collaborators you invite

If you invite teammates or professionals (such as an accountant/CPA), they can access information according to the permissions you configure.

D) For legal, compliance, and safety

We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, protect rights/safety, and investigate abuse or security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information for money. In certain jurisdictions, some advertising/analytics practices may be considered “sharing.” We provide rights and choices where required (see Section 7).

7) COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND MARKETING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for:

  • Authentication and security

  • Preferences and functionality

  • Analytics and performance measurement

  • Advertising/marketing measurement

Consent: Where required by law, we present a cookie consent banner/controls and honor applicable opt-out requirements and privacy rights.

We may use vetted analytics and marketing/advertising measurement tools now or in the near future. We select vendors with strong privacy and security practices and align our implementation with applicable laws.

8) YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES

A) Account controls

You can manage integrations and permissions inside the Services. You can revoke access to connected services at any time through the integration settings.

B) Marketing communications

You may opt out of marketing emails using an unsubscribe link or by contacting support@vissorax.com. We may still send essential service messages.

C) “Do Not Sell / Do Not Share” (where required)

If you are in a jurisdiction that provides a “Do Not Sell” or “Do Not Share” right, you may exercise that right by contacting legal@vissorax.com. We do not sell personal information for money, but we honor applicable opt-out rights related to certain advertising/analytics definitions of “sharing.”

D) Access / deletion / correction (where required)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. To make a request, contact legal@vissorax.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

9) DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

  • Disconnecting an integration stops future syncing, but previously synced data may remain in your account so you can continue using historical records.

  • If you request deletion, we delete your customer content and connected data, except we may retain minimal records required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, and billing dispute purposes.

10) SUPPORT ACCESS (LIMITED)

We do not access customer data unless:

  • you request us to do so for support, troubleshooting, or investigation of a problem, and/or

  • it is strictly necessary to provide, secure, or maintain the Services.

Where access is necessary, it is limited, controlled, and logged under internal safeguards.

11) AI / MODEL TRAINING (STRICT)

We do NOT train third-party models on any customer data, including connected accounting data. Any product improvement that uses data is limited to aggregated and anonymized information and does not expose your raw connected data to other customers.

12) SECURITY

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. We enforce HTTPS and modern TLS and use security attributes on session cookies (Secure, HttpOnly). No system is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

13) INTERNATIONAL USE AND TRANSFERS

VissoraX is intended to operate globally over time. Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and comply with regional privacy requirements.

The Services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

15) CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email, in-product notification, or a prominent notice on our website). If we fail to notify you properly, we’re sorry—contact legal@vissorax.com and we will address it promptly.
