1) WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, SDKs, local storage, and device identifiers (“Similar Technologies”). These help us provide and improve the Services.
2) WHY WE USE COOKIES
We use cookies and Similar Technologies for these purposes:
A) Strictly Necessary (Essential)
These are required for the Services to work.
Examples:
-
Account login and authentication
-
Security and fraud prevention
-
Session management
-
Load balancing and basic functionality
B) Preferences / Functionality
These help remember your choices and improve your experience.
Examples:
-
Language and settings preferences
-
Remembering UI selections
C) Analytics / Performance
These optional technologies help us understand how the public website is used so we can improve reliability, content, and user experience.
Examples:
- Consented page views, scroll completion, outbound-link clicks, file downloads, and deliberately configured conversion events
The public website uses Google Analytics 4 only after you accept Analytics in our privacy choices. Before acceptance, the Google tag is not loaded and no analytics request is sent. Automatic form-interaction and site-search measurement are disabled. We do not send form content, email addresses, support topics, sales details, search terms, access codes, or tokens to Google Analytics.
D) Marketing / Advertising Measurement
The public website does not currently load advertising tags. Google consent values for advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied even when Analytics is accepted.
Important:
- We do not use your connected accounting data (including QuickBooks-derived data) for marketing.
3) FIRST-PARTY VS THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
-
First-party cookies are set by VissoraX.
-
Third-party technologies may be provided by service providers we use for analytics, performance, or security. The current optional analytics provider is Google Analytics 4.
We use vetted providers and implement cookies/trackers in a way intended to follow applicable laws and required standards.
4) COOKIE CONSENT AND CONTROLS (GLOBAL APPROACH)
The public website provides privacy controls that allow you to accept, reject, or customize optional analytics.
Optional analytics remains off unless you accept it. Your choice is stored locally on your device so the website can remember it. Essential storage cannot be turned off because it is needed for security, requested functionality, and saving your privacy choice.
You can reopen the controls at any time by selecting Privacy choices in the website footer. If you withdraw a prior Analytics choice, we send a denied consent update, remove accessible Google Analytics cookies set for this site, and reload the page without the Google tag.
5) HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES
You can manage cookies in several ways:
A) Privacy choices
Use the on-site controls to accept, reject, or withdraw optional Analytics.
B) Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to:
-
Remove cookies
-
Block cookies
-
Block third-party cookies
Note: If you block essential cookies, parts of the Services may not work properly.
C) Device settings (mobile)
If you use VissoraX on mobile devices now or in the future, your device may provide controls for ad tracking or app permissions.
D) Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar signals
Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, optional Analytics remains off.
6) “DO NOT SELL / DO NOT SHARE” (WHERE REQUIRED)
We do not sell personal information for money. In some jurisdictions, certain advertising/analytics practices may be considered “sharing.” Where required, you may exercise “Do Not Sell” or “Do Not Share” rights by:
-
Using available cookie controls (if presented), and/or
-
Contacting legal@vissorax.com
7) UPDATES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (for example, by a prominent notice on our website or within the Services). If we fail to notify you properly, we’re sorry—contact legal@vissorax.com and we will address it promptly.
